UG Programmes

Under the Agriculture Department, several job-oriented diploma and advanced diploma courses are offered for students who have passed 12th in any discipline. One of the important courses is the Diploma in Dairy Science and Technology, which focuses on milk production, processing, quality control, dairy chemistry, microbiology, and management of dairy farms and dairy industries. The course provides both theoretical knowledge and practical training in dairy plant operations, milk procurement, and value-added products like butter, cheese, and yogurt.

Another course is the Advance Diploma in Greenhouse Technology and Advance Diploma in Farm Machinery Equipment Operation and Maintenance. Which focus on vegetable and floriculture cultivation under controlled environment, and equipment knowledge in selection, repair and maintenance of agricultural equipments respectively. 

*Diploma in Dairy Science and Technology

Duration: 1 Year

Eligibility : 12th pass in any discipline 

*Advance Diploma in Greenhouse Technology:

This diploma  is a two year Degree program offering specialization in Greenhouse Technology in the I & II respectively with exit levels after each year such as Diploma /Advanced Diploma.

Duration: 2 Years

Elgibility: 12th pass in any discipline

*Advance diploma in Farm Machinery Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

This diploma  is a two year Degree program offering specialization in Farm Machinery Equipment Operation and Maintenance processing in the I & II respectively with exit levels after each year such as Diploma /Advanced Diploma.

Eligibility: - 10+2 in any stream.

Duration : 2 years

Eligibility: After 12^th in (any discipline)

Vocational Programmes

• B.Voc (Food Processing)

B.Voc Food Processing is a three year Degree program offering specialization in Fruit & vegetable processing, Milk & dairy products and Agro products processing in the I, II & III year respectively with exit levels after each year such as Diploma /Advanced Diploma.

Eligibility: - 10+2 in any stream.

Duration: - 3 years
