It gives me immense pleasure to address students, parents and all stakeholders through this message. The Science Department at Guru Nanak College is sponsored by DBT Star College grant and committed to providing quality education, promoting scientific temperament and developing analytical and research-oriented skills among students.Our department continuously strives to create an academic environment that encourages curiosity, innovation, discipline, and excellence.

The department offers diverse programmes including M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Physics, B.Sc. Medical, B.Sc. Non-Medical, and proposed B.Sc. Honours Chemistry, B.Sc. Honours Physics from this session. With dedicated faculty members, well-equipped laboratories including UV Spectrophotometer, flame photometer, LCR meter, CRO and student-centered teaching methodologies, we aim to prepare students for higher studies, research, competitive examinationsand professional careers.

Apart from academics, we actively encourage participation in seminars, workshops, industrial visits, science exhibitions, environment education programme sponsored by PSCST Chandigarh to ensure the holistic development of students.
